American Steel Fabrications of Idaho was established in 2019, originally operating out of the Agri-Stor shop as the company’s fabrication division. As demand and capabilities grew, that division evolved into its own business- laying the foundation for what is now American Steel Fabrications. From those early days to our 17,000 square foot facility in Blackfoot, we’ve grown by building lasting partnerships, exceeding expectations, and showing up with the kind of service people remember.

The team is the backbone of that growth. The shop is led by Manager Jason Pratt, who brings over 23 years of fabrication experience, and Machinist Tyson Pratt, who has 17 years in the field. They work alongside a skilled crew that includes Design & Fabrication Specialist Dakota Butler and a dedicated welding team—Bart, Brady, Brandt, Jaden, and Konnor—who together contribute over 45 years of hands-on expertise. Behind the scenes, Administrator MaKayla Christensen keeps operations running smoothly. Together, this team brings deep knowledge and attention to detail to every project.

Our shop is fully equipped for fabrication, welding, and precision machining, and we support everything from 3D design to final production. Whether you need a single prototype, production-scale builds, or on-site welding, we’re ready to meet the challenge.
